Fresh off the plane from Norway and I feel incredibly dehydrated and gross BUT I feel ready to BLOG again. Vacations are so great for inspiration but I find it’s important to capitalize on it ASAP.
Shout out to Norwegian Air for super smooth rides to Scandinavia and back – no delays and no issues. I can write a separate review on that later since a lot of people seemed interested in my Level Airlines review.
To start off, I’ll share the itinerary for my 1 week trip to Scandi:
Day 1: Arrive Stockholm
Day 2: Full day in Stockholm
Day 3: Mid-day flight to Oslo, Norway
Day 4: Early morning train to Flam, stay a night in Flam
Day 5: Morning fjord cruise to Gundvagen > Buss to Voss > Train to Bergen
Day 6: Full day in Bergen
Day 7: Fly home
Perfect for a Monday to Monday trip over Thanksgiving break, all for about $540pp with Norwegian Air. It’s a pretty mobile itinerary, meaning you are re-packing your bag almost every day but you get to see a lot and I felt we spent the perfect amount in each city.
Scandinavia in winter though!? If you had asked me that 1 day before the trip I would have agreed with you. Thankfully, I was proven very wrong – Nordic countries in winter are actually the best.
